Editing Photos and Photoshop Tools

Purpose:

• To become familiar with Adobe Photoshop workspace and basic photo manipulating and editing tools;

• To look at and think about your photographs differently, using a variety of Photoshop tools

Learning to use a variety of different photo editing tools on photoshop will help us further enhance our photos and to add details that we may not have been able to capture on camera but saw with our own eyes. It will help me with my bi-weekly photo assignments and make specific edits and touch-ups.

Three things that I found interesting about this assignment could include the number of different tools that there are. When I quickly think of editing I think that you just brighten and dim the photos, but I find it cool that you can actually remove items that you don’t want or need in your photo. Another thing I found interesting is that there are so many possibilities when it comes to editing photos, and the way you can combine multiple photos together to get one masterpiece is so satisfying to me.
