Over break, I went to Washington DC and stopped in a lot of museums, one of them being the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. And in that museum, there is a display of thousands of vibrant colored crystals so I thought that it would be a good idea to take a few photos.

This picture was taken on my way home from DC and I chose this one because I loved how the majority of the picture has blue tones but then there is that stripe in the sky that is orange. I thought the contrast between the two colors was extremely pretty.
(Color Scheme Used: Complementary)
I saw these flowers in my room from my sister's wedding a few years ago and they have been this neutral tan color since, so I thought that if I focused on the leaves and had the white flowers be a little blurred it would be a good representation of neutral colors.

This image also comes from the minerals and gems displayed in the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. What I did for most of these pictures was get really close to the display and then zoom in, so I could get the texture and details captured as well as the vibrant colors.
