Out of all of my objects, the dried-up moss stood out to me the most because of its intriguing shape and texture. I choose to make a newly shaped pinch pot compared to what I have made in the past. Choosing what to do to the surface of my pinch pot was hard to finalize because I was trying to get the texture of the moss to be represented. After looking through multiple different tools I ultimately chose to use two different types of sponges to push into the clay to create that bumpy dried-up moss look. Then when glazing I wanted to emphasize more on the color of the moss, so I chose just to do an all-over moss-green look. Not just because of the name but because I have used it in the past and the way it settles in nooks and crannies on the surface of the clay it becomes dark and light all over the place.
