Objective:

• Create a work of art based on the work of an artist (and medium) of your choice.

• Utilize what you know about sculpture materials to create the highest quality piece you can.

Reflection:

I learned how to use wood carving tools and chisels, which has a bigger learning curve than I expected, and I got to work with a new medium and new processes. I think my most important learning was being able to take inspiration from another artist and create a piece based of their work without plagiarizing, and being able to learn techniques from that artist to improve your own work.
