Op Artists change how we perceive a 2D surfaces with their use and understanding of value, line work, and form. In my work I tried to incorporate all of these aspects to create a 3D image that you could imagine touching. Specifically, I used line work and perspective to create a "black hole" in the bottom left that draws in the eye, and lines pushing back creating a tunnel. I helped push this illusion with the use of balls, which show the tunnel going back as they get smaller. Also, I created twisting tubes up top with my understanding of form, which helped me to place my shading to create a rounded look.
