“Ok!” Evalyn yelled, almost screaming. “That is the craziest thing you guys have said today, and believe me, you've said a lot of crazy things. I am most certainly not this special savior, and I’m not the descendant of this powerful goddess of nature either though that explains a lot.”
Just then, the room started to shake and rumble. “I think we’re having an earthquake!” yelled Asta.
“No!” yelled Griffin back trying to keep his balance. “It’s Evalyn! Her emotions are going haywire! We have to get her to calm her down!”
“We have to find her first!” said Asta. Griffin had not noticed that Evalyn had left the house onto the street.
“We need to find her before they do!” Griffin replied. ⭐
When Evalyn ran out, Griffin had asked Asta to stay put inside the house. After those words, he ran off to go find Evalyn. Asta also did the best she could to keep anything from breaking, yet there were a few plates and glasses that were broken on the wooden kitchen floor.
Evalyn had run out onto the street in panic. She had no idea where she was going, but her mind was racing. She hadn’t even realised that she had started an earthquake that was affecting the entire town.
“I have to get out of here!” she thought. “I can’t be here right now. That must be crazy. I am not part of this crazy legend. I am not the descendant of some crazy nature goddess. I AM JUST A NORMAL TEENAGER WITH POWERS!” Evalyn kept on walking towards town square. She still didn’t realize that there was an earthquake going on. Just then, she spotted someone out of the corner of her eye. It was a woman. She was standing in an alleyway. She looked like she was looking for someone. She was about 5’7 and had two french braids going from the top of her head into a median high ponytail. Her hair was a black-brown color that complimented her dark brown eyes. She was wearing all black, and Evalyn spotted a dagger on her belt. She felt herself beginning to run. She started running at full speed, but tripped into darkness.

“What’s happening?” Evalyn slowly began to open her eyes. The world no longer felt shaky like it was going to explode.
“What’s going on?”She saw Griffin hovering over her.
“We need to go! Now!” He gave Evalyn his hand and lifted her off the pavement. Evalyn looked around and realised that she had fallen on the street. She also saw as her and Griffin were running back to the house, some houses had collapsed, cars had smashed together, and many signs, street signs, and streetlights had fallen down. “What happened?” she thought. “What did I do?”
They soon made it back to Evalyn’s house. Asta was anxiously waiting on the couch. When Griffin and Evalyn entered the front door, Asta jumped up and gave them both a big hug.
“You had me so worried!” She exclaimed. “A couple minutes after Griffin ran out the door to look for you, the world stopped shaking. I was worried that something had happened to you!”
“Well it looks like I’m fine.” Evalyn took a good look around the room and saw that Asta had saved most of her family’s precious fragile heirlooms. “By the way, thank you for saving my house.”
Evalyn wasn’t sure she wanted to be a mythical figure, but she knew she also didn’t want to destroy her town. She knew she had to learn to get her powers under control. Maybe these people could help her? “Let’s start this over,” she said, taking a deep breath, “What do you want from me?”
