SKYLAR

Hey, I’m Skylar. I’m not the main character, but I’m helping her. We meet in the first town she stopped at, and I wanted to help. Nora is the main character of this story. She is trying to stop the prince of Beleza from destroying Falhou, her kingdom. Asher is next to her. He is the love interest. I know she likes him, it’s really obvious. He hasn’t picked up on it yet, somehow. We’re in a small village on the way to the other kingdom buying food. I don’t know her plan well, but I really don’t think she has one.

“Sky! Let’s go.” Nora calls and hands Ash a bag of food.

“Ok,” I call back and run over, “Where are we going?”

“The shop keeper said there was a village through the forest that will give us more information on the castle.”

“Oh. Let’s go then.”

We start walking with Nora in the lead. I’ll be honest. I don’t know why I’m on this adventure with them. There is a magic number I guess. As we enter the forest, I end up in the back of the line on the narrow trail. Nora and Asher are talking.

“So… What is your plans once you take over the palace.”

Take over the palace? I wasn’t told we were doing that. I wasn’t told anything.

“Rule it, but let’s not get ahead of ourselves here. We need to get there first.”

We cross a bridge over a shallow creek. The forest is beautiful, but they don’t seen to care.

“Skylar?”

“Yes?”

“When we get to the village can you buy some more warm clothing; we’re going to look of the mayor.”

“Ok. Can do.”

We get to the village soon after. I head for the markets, and they head for the town center.

“Hello. I need to get some warn clothing.”

“Ok dear. My I ask why?”

“I’m not too sure. My friend told me to get some.”

“Did you ask why?”

“No.”

“Why?”

I’m not the main character. I don’t have a say, so I don’t care.

“I didn’t think to.”

“Ok dear. Here. That will be 20 Ero”

“There you go. Thanks.”

“Of course.”

I walk back to the center of town. Nora and Ash are talking with the mayor. I don’t think they see me.

“So if we take the Criminosa trail then about 200 feet in make a hard right we will get to the back of the castle wall in a few minutes?”

“Exactly. Watch for wild animals, and you didn’t hear this from me,” he runs off.

“This is great. We can get there fast. Before they know I’m gone.”

“I hope so. Those guards are annoying.”

“I know right? Didn’t see me climb out the window though.”

“I don’t know how.”

“Me neither. Oh. Hey Skylar. I see you got the clothing. We might stop and eat before we head off.”

“Ok where?”

“Oh… um… I don’t think you’ll like it.”

“Oh. Ok then. I’ll find a place.”

“Great. Meet here in 30 minutes.”

“Will do.”

I’m following them. I know I shouldn’t, but I want to know what they're up to. I know nothing about this plan. I follow them to the edge of town. Someone hangs up a wanted poster next to me as I listen to their conversation.

“Do you think she is gone?”

“No. After a bit of waiting she will look for us. We have to be quick.”

“So this is the Criminosa trail? Seems a bit overgrown.”

“Yeah. That’s good. The guards wouldn’t follow us down there.”

“You sure? They seem to do anything to catch on-the-run criminals.”

“I know. If we go now we-”

What. She lied to me? I look at the wanted poster, and read “Nora Mentira and Ash Cobrir: Wanted for escaping the royal prison.”

I look around then wave over an officer. After I show him the paper, I point to them. He nods.

Nora continues, “Good idea. Come on.”

“Not so fast,” I reply.

“Oh… Hey Skylar… How long have you been there? Why do you have the police?”

“You know why.”

The officer blows a whistle, and a few other join him to arrest Nora and Ash. Nora starts yelling at me as they are taken away. I explain to the officer what they were planning.

“You're a hero, young lady. They could have taken over the palace. Thank you.”

“You're welcome.”

Hey, maybe in the end I became the main character. I mean you were following my side of the story the whole time, so maybe I’ve been the main character the whole time. We have something in common then.

THE GOOD PLACE REVIEW

The Good Place aired in 2016 on NBC, and now has four seasons. Its final season came out on September 26, 2019, and the show is now over, but it can still be streamed online.

This show was so amazing. It showed that over time people can change, and you can become a better version of yourself.

The main character, Eleanor was not a very good person on Earth. But, the she died and discovered she was accidentally sent to "the good place." This inspired her to change her life, and she turned into an amazing person and so did her friends.

I rate this shows a 9/10 because it's very inspiring. It inspires you to fight to be the best you can be.

TEEN WOLF REVIEW

Teen wolf is a supernatural teen drama series created by Jeff Davis based on the 1985 film of the same name . The main character Scott McCall finds himself bitten by a mysterious creature and his life is changed , now scot has bigger issues than high school to face such as hunters and other supernatural creatures.

I rate this show a 10/10. I am obsessed with this show!!! It is one of those shows you can watch over and over again and never get sick of. My favorite character is by far Malia.

If you love watching SciFi/Fantasy shows, I highly recommend this, trust me when I say you will love it!

WHY?

HOW TO MAKE HOT COCOA BOmbs

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SILICONE MOLDS

1.Finely chop your chocolate using a sharp chefs knife.

2.Place chocolate into a bowl and heat for 30 seconds.

3.Then stir the chocolate, moving the chocolate that is on the outside, towards the center.

4.Next heat the chocolate again for 15 seconds and mix again.

5.Repeat this process until the chocolate is ALMOST melted but not fully melted. Never heat longer that 15 seconds and never going above 90F.

6. Make sure your silicone molds are clean by polishing them with a paper towel.

7.Paint a thin layer of chocolate into the molds and refrigerate for 5 minutes.

8. Paint a second coat of chocolate over the first, paying special attention to building up the rim of the sphere. And refrigerate again.

9.Take your chocolate out of the molds and fill half with 1 cup tablespoon of hot cocoa mix and 1 tablespoon of mini marshmallows.

10. Then you can heat a pot with parent supervision and carefully take the empty chocolate sphere and place on the warm pot while turning it, after that take your other side of chocolate that is filled with the marshmallows and hot cocoa mix and place together.

11.Then wipe the extra chocolate away and TADA you're done!

The Hunted Treehouse: The Monster Within

"AHHHHHHHHHHH!"

It's been a week since Payton and her friends ate the monster, and to their dismay, they all woke up and they are starting to become monsters.

The friends rush out of the treehouse and run to the village witch and the monster expert.

“You ate an everlast monster," she said, "They are very rare. Basically when they are killed or die, they transfer their essence into someone else's body. In your case, that means all of your bodies, because you all ate him. Do not worry, you get to keep your consciousness. The only way to get rid of him is to find the leaf of the golden tree, sacrifice your most precious item, and give a lock of your hair up. If you bring these items back to me you can get rid of the monster.”

Getting the golden leaf was the easy part. Everyone knew where the Golden Leaf was; you had to go into the Rainbow forest and then it was in the middle of the pink lava. Hayden got his grappling hook and shot it at the tree containing the leaf. He eventually got to the tree and picked 5 leaves.

When he was coming back he lost his balance and almost fell into the lava, but Payton grabbed and saved him just in time. (He may need to get a new pair of shoes though, they looked a little burnt.)

Next they had to give up a lock of their hair, which you would think was easy. Unlike the rest of the town, however, the hunters' hair was made of metals. So, they went to the blacksmith. He cut off a lock of each of their hairs.

The hardest part was giving up their most precious item. Payton knew what hers was: her golden bow. It was her first love and she made it herself. Emily’s was her hair brush that had a ruby on it. It always made her hair smooth and silky. Hayden’s was his weights, they were only 5 pounds, but they made him feel strong. Jeffrey’s was his diamond hatchet that he had forged deep in a mountain. Avery’s was her hat, which she tried to eat when they were being attacked by the monster.

With the items in hand, they all went down to the village witch and monster expert. She stirred up a potion and they all drank it.

"Huzzah!" They were all fine.

I took a lick

Of a peppermint stick

On the Christmas tree

But now it’s in my tummy!
