Christmas at Blenheim Palace - 15th November 2024 - 1st January 2025 - Everyday 10:30 AM - 8:30 PM. Activities include outdoor lights, ice skating, afternoon tea and a Christmas Market. The market is set up with traditional wooden chalets on the grounds of the palace, just a 30 minute bus ride on the S3 from the WEPO complex. More information here.
Christmas in Oxford - November 23, 2024, 10:00 AM – January 5, 2025, 6:00 PM - Experience the magic of the season at Oxford’s Christmas Market with festive gifts, seasonal foods, and entertainment in the heart of the city! Broad Street, Oxford, OX1 3BS
Oxford Gloucester Green Market. Open Wednesdays and Thursdays 9 AM - 4 PM, Fridays and Saturdays 9 AM - 5 PM. Lots of little trinkets, clothes, food, and more! Located in the centre of the city, right off George Street and near the bus station.

10:30 AM - 8:30 PM: Blenheim Palace Christmas Market. The palace's court is turned into a market with food, drink, and retail. The palace is twenty minutes away by bus from 145 Banbury. More information here.

4PM: Department of Politics and International Relations lecture, 'Do Sanctions on Terrorist Groups Work? Financial Adaptability, U.S. Sanctions, and Terrorist Attacks' - Lecture will take place in the Old Library at All Souls College.
6:00-9 PM - Funcom Holiday Event - 6:00-7:15 PM - Ice skating at the Oxford ice rink. 8-9 PM Hot chocolate, holiday music, gingerbread house decorating, secret snowflake and more in 145 Banbury Dining Hall!

1 PM: Networking: Peer Mentoring Networking Event (Climate, Energy and the Environment) - Join us for a dynamic event on climate, energy, and environmental policy in the launch of the new round of the OPEN Peer Mentoring Event. The programme includes a networking lunch (13:00-14:00) where you can connect with Oxford researchers and policy professionals, followed by a Q&A session (14:00-15:00) exploring how research and policy communities can work better together to achieve common goals. 8PM: Quiz Night at the Cape of Good Hope. Pub trivia every Tuesday night. Tickets are £1 per person.

2PM-3PM: ART FOR EVERYDAY LIFE TALK 2, 'Pre- and Post-War 20th-Century Artists Taking Art Outside the Gallery' - Ashmolean Art Museum - This event will take place at the Museum and online via Zoom

7:30 PM: Anton Lesser’s "A Christmas Carol" - Hambletts Events presents Anton Lesser in a performance of A Christmas Carol, accompanied by Orchestra of the Swan. Sheldonian Theatre. More info and tickets here
8 PM: Indie Disco - @ Tap Social Movement - Free attendance

12 PM - 5 PM: Songs and Scones. Enjoy 90 minutes free use of the Mad Hatter's private karaoke rooms with an afternoon tea deal! More info here
10 AM - 6 PM: Oxford Botanic Garden Christmas Fair! There will be live music (Christmas-themed, of course, and jazz). There will also be interactive Guavaberry workshops celebrating the flora of Caribbean and African folklore and culinary tradition. There will also be traditional fair offerings like vintage homewares, themed food and drink, and handmade clothes. Tickets are £7 with student card. More information here.
