Monday, September 30 (Arrival Day)

11:00am: Coach will be departing from Heathrow Airport around 11am BST. Students who are arriving on the 30th September and indicated they will be taking the coach will receive more information via email. Katie will distribute room keys on arrival.

From approx. 1:30pm: Light snacks and refreshments will be available in the 145 Banbury dining room

5:45pm: Meeting for all in 145 Banbury dining room

6:00pm: Group dinner at the Dew Drop Inn in Summertown

Tuesday, October 1

9:00am: Breakfast served in 145 Banbury dining room

10:00am: Ephraim Williams House Orientation with Katie (Location: dining room)

11:00am: Introduction to the WEPO Library with Christine Ellis (Location: WEPO library)

11:30am: IT talk with Paul via zoom (Location: dining room)

12:15pm: Lunch in 145 Banbury Road dining room

1:30pm: Photo scavenger hunt in EWH & Summertown

5:00pm: Official group photo in 1 Moreton Road garden (dress code is business/smart attire)

5:30pm (or after the photo): Drinks and canapé reception in the 1 Moreton garden; meeting Exeter guests

7:00pm: Welcome dinner at 145 Banbury Road (location: dining room)

Wednesday, October 2

9:00am: Breakfast served in 145 Banbury dining room

9:30am: Group leaves for central Oxford (we will walk together, approx. 1 mile/30 minute walk). We will meet in the 145 Banbury dining room. Please remember to bring your passport with you!

10:15am: City tour of Oxford

12:15pm: Lunch at Exeter College Dakota Café (Cohen Quad)

Afternoon: Time to pick up BRP cards at central post office (we will walk there as a group)

6:30pm: Dinner at 145 Banbury Road (location: dining room)

Thursday, October 3

9:00am: Breakfast served in 145 Banbury dining room

10:00am: WEPO Programme orientation with Katie (Location: dining room)

10:45am: Academic Orientation with Prof. Crane (Location: dining room)

11:45am: Distribution of academic gowns (Location: 145 Banbury common room)

12:00pm: Lunch in 145 Banbury Road dining room

12:45pm: Biking induction & distribution for those who are borrowing bikes (145 Banbury dining room)

Friday, October 4

9:30am: Breakfast at Exeter College Dining Hall, Turl St. (we will meet there, arriving independently)

10:00am: Signing the Register with the Exeter College Rector, and pick up your student ID card. You will need your academic gowns for this, but should not wear sub fusc. You may leave your gown in your Exeter locker when you're done if you'd like. You will need your passport and BRP (if you have one), so please bring them with you. (smart/business attire)

11:30am: Welcome & introduction from Exeter College academic representative, Dr Caroline Ritchie (Rector's Drawing Room, Exeter College)

12:30pm: Meeting with Junior Deans (Rector's Drawing Room, Exeter College) Group Photo

1:00pm: Lunch at Exeter College Dining Hall

1:45pm: Exeter College library introduction (Library, Exeter College)

Saturday, October 5

All day: WEPO field trip to Bath (detailed itinerary will be sent via email)

Sunday, October 13

3:00-6:00pm: WEPO Exeter Welcome BBQ with Exeter College students (all WEPO students are invited and expected to attend). This event will be held in the 145 Banbury and 1 Moreton gardens. Please feel free to invite any Exeter College friends you make during orientation. All non-WEPO guests should sign up for a ticket using Eventbrite here. Exeter students will be required to show their student ID for entry.
