UPAY allows you to have complete control over your account over the internet, so like online banking you can manage your account online from anywhere, anytime. UPAY is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to process transactions in just a few seconds with funds available immediately on your account.
Within your first few days at Exeter, you will receive an email from Uniware (payments@upay.co.uk) which will guide you through the process of setting up your cashless account. This email will have a unique username and password to access the online web loading service.
Once registered, please go to https://www.upay.co.uk to access your account. You can use this credit at the Exeter dining hall, Cohen Quad's Dakota Cafe, and the Undercroft Bar for lunch.
How does it work?
Your University ID card is linked to Upay which allows you to book on for lunches and some dinners via the UpayChilli site. You can also load your card with money which is held on a central system, like a bank account, thus making the system secure. This can then be used in the Exeter cafes and bar to purchase non-common table related items.
Cards can be loaded via:
UPAY- https://www.upay.co.uk is a secure site for crediting your university card with credit or debit cards. You may also top up your card with cash on site at the Porters Lodge (9am-6pm) and in the Undercroft bar (6pm-11pm). Cards are presented at the point of sale and the cashless account is debited accordingly.
Available functionality:
Card Top Up- you can top up your account online using a debit or credit card.
Auto Card Top Up- to make life easier, you can set up an auto top up facility on your account so the account will never reach a zero balance.
Card Balance- this enables you to view your balance online at any time.
Function Booking- view, book, and pay for meals online
Mini Statements- request a mini statement detailing summarized information of card top-ups and transactions.
Detailed statement- request a detailed statement with a full breakdown of card top-ups and complete transaction details. This detailed statement will be sent to your email address, and you can set it up to receive them at scheduled times.
