Team Sky Splash

Magnie

Main Weapon: Slosher

Eirik's younger sister. Captain of Team Sky Splash, and also the most easily distracted.

Classified by others as an obsessive fangirl, she’s usually seen with her nose in a magazine of some sort while listening to music. She can become quickly irritated when someone tries to distract her from something, and she sometimes reacts without thinking.

Tends to get ahead of herself, and rushes into things too fast. Similarly while battling, she’ll accidentally work herself into a corner by running ahead into the frontlines with no backup. She means well, and her teammates appreciate how hard she tries.

Protective of her teammates, if she hears someone talking bad about them, she won’t hesitate to speak up.

Calcie

Main Weapon: H-3 Nozzlenose

The most aggressive splatter on the team, she has a thing for sneaking up on others and splatting them.

Although she doesn’t use the Ninja Squid ability, she has become skilled in sneakily swimming in ink and can find others hiding with no problem. She has talent for evading attacks from others at close range.

While not much of a gossip, she does have her ways of finding out other’s secrets, and although she doesn’t spill information, she prides herself in knowing a lot more about people than they think she knows.

When she’s angry, she hardly ever shows it directly. She’s not all that talkative, but she’s quick to jump into conversation if it interests her.

Zircon

Main Weapon: Custom Blaster

Zircon is a sort of does-whatever-he-wants kind of teammate. He doesn’t really follow any strategy and just charges ahead into enemy territory (leaving the rest of his team to ink their side of the turf).

While cheerful and friendly most of the time, he has no trouble splatting others in battle. Because of the additional private training he received at home, his skill level is far above many of his peers, and nobody can deny it.

His naturally casual yet cool demeanor (and freshness in battle) has resulted in Zircon becoming extremely popular (much to his bewilderment), and it's an image he has resigned to maintaining. He’s usually surrounded by hopeful fangirls whenever he’s hanging out in Inkopolis.

Unknown to anyone else, Zircon wears contacts (or glasses when he’s at home) due to him being cross-eyed. He’s actually pretty geeky and knows a lot about how weapons work, although he keeps it to himself.

Olive

Main Weapon: Heavy Splatling

All the way from “out of town”, Olive is the newest member on Team Sky Splash, having joined after being kicked off Team Sink Ink (for being "distant and not present" for reasons she wouldn't disclose to the team).

Although she’s small, she’s got a lot of physical strength and favors heavy weapons. She plays the part of what she would call a “mobile sniper” with her Heavy Splatling. Her reflexes aren’t the best, so she struggles with close combat and surprises.

She keeps her distance by staying up high in sniper locations, and splats opponents before they can even get close. She’s observant and has good intuition when it comes to where the enemies are hiding in their ink.

Olive’s background is almost completely unknown. She just happened to show up in Inkopolis one day and was quickly accepted into Team Sink Ink (who had just lost a member and were a bit desperate). She tends to stay quiet and never talks about herself. Her peers find it odd how early she wakes up in the morning.

Team ElectrINK

Samar

Main Weapon: Custom E-liter 3K

A team leader that takes his role very seriously, Samar makes it his job to protect his teammates—and as a result has become quite the pro sniper. However, being the leader sometimes gets to his head and causes him to take on a slightly tyrannical personality.

Quiet and focused for the most part, he is easily frustrated when he misses a shot or has a string of losses in battle. Very rarely is he seen relaxing, and usually it's because his teammates dragged him along for some leisure time away from battle.

He is very opinionated, and he tends to push his opinions on his peers, letting them know what is "right" and "wrong." His views on romance or the like are so repressive that his teammates wouldn't be caught dead going on even one date.

The only one that seems to be able to get Samar to drop the serious act is Pheryl, as the two of them have been close friends nearly their entire lives.

Pheryl

Main Weapon: Rapid Blaster Deco

A joker, a prankster, and a flirt, Pheryl teases his teammates on a daily basis and is always cracking jokes—although his jokes can be of poor taste at times. While he will take any given opportunity to make a joke at someone else's expense, he never means to insult anyone.

Despite taking nothing—not even battling—seriously, he is extremely competitive and treats just about everything like it's a contest. Samar finally started taking Pheryl's "Hold me back" warnings seriously after the latter started a fist fight with "those nerds on Team Lime Pop" over a 0.1% loss in a Turf War.

Thanks to his easygoing nature outside of battle, Pheryl is quite popular and is usually the one putting together social events. Samar is like a brother to him, although he thinks he's gotten a bit too serious over the years and is constantly trying to get him to lighten up—or get a girlfriend.

Neodym

Main Weapon: Carbon Roller

Considered "the quiet one" by his teammates, Neodym is the least likely to pick a fight and even less likely to stand up for himself. His attempts to be friendly to other teams sometimes lead to his own demise on the battlefield.

He tries to be logical and strategic during battles, but more often than not his teammates rush off, leaving him to ink their side and unable to actually carry out any plans. Because he dislikes conflict, he doesn't ever bring this up to his teammates.

He is an extremely fast runner and has ridiculously  quick reflexes, making him quite difficult to splat. However, his physical strength isn’t the greatest, leaving him on the receiving line of jokes and teasing. He usually ignores anyone that teases himbut if something really bothers him... Well, that’s a completely different story.

He happens to think Olive is pretty neat—although he would never admit it to his team, thanks to Samar's strict "Dating is a Distraction" philosophy.

Technet

Main Weapon: Splattershot Pro

An absolute geek, Technet knows the names of every single weapon, along with their subs and specials. On top of that, he’s got every gear ability memorized and knows which pieces of gear have what ability. At the beginning of battles, he takes the time to scope out the other team so that his team knows what to watch out for.

He may be shy off of the battlefield, but he’s actually quite the aggressive splatter. While he doesn't actively chase after people, he doesn't let anyone get past him without a fight.

In his free time, he likes to disassemble and reassemble weapons, and he’s even combined a few weapons as an experiment. He also serves as the handyman of his team, keeping their weapons in tip-top shape.

While most wouldn't necessarily see him as "fresh," his teammates never stop bragging about how cool he is.

Team Grape Fizz

Vanada

Main Weapon: .52 Gal Deco

Captain of Team Grape Fizz, Vanada formed the team completely by whim while she was talking to her friend—who was boasting about how she was going to have the best team around. Irritated, Vanada grabbed the two closest inklings (Roiso and Fleur), forming a team on the spot. (Roiso was the one that suggested Xythen as a fourth teammate.)

She is sensitive to things others say, and she feels the need to constantly one-up others. Out on the battlefield, she's quick to get her revenge if splatted, and she gets frustrated when her team is obviously losing.

She can be somewhat shy when talking to others that she doesn’t know, but if she hears someone bragging about something, she will mentally vow to do better than them.

Fleur

Main Weapon: .96 Gal Deco

()

Roiso

Main Weapon: Heavy Splatling Deco

Roiso, like the others on Team Grape Fizz, comes from a wealthy family, but he doesn't take it for granted as easily as Fleur and Vanada do and tends to be the one offering to pay for others.

He and Xythen were childhood friends that stuck together during school and planned to make a team together—but that plan eventually collapsed with the creation of Team Grape Fizz.

Being the backliner on the team, Roiso is extremely good at prioritizing his defenses in order to prevent anyone from getting past him and his splatling. He's not very offensive unless he has to be, and even then he leaves the forward pushing to his teammates.

Outside of battle, Rosio's main hobby is shopping, although he does love playing card games with his friends. He's very observant when it comes to others' emotions, landing him in the role as the team's unofficial therapist.

Xythen

Main Weapon: Carbon Roller Deco

Laureth's younger brother and one of Iodi's first friends, Xythen doesn't care too much about winning or losing, and it drives him insane when others start drama over who the winner of a battle was. He thinks Laureth's two original teammates are jerks, and he feels bad for Eirik when he joins the team.

After getting talked into joining Team Grape Fizz by Roiso (who has been his best friend since they were practically babies), Xythen reluctantly gave up hope on the "Dream Team" that he had been planning on being a part of with Roiso, Tanium, and Iodi.

He's always has a strong desire to travel the world and vows to do so after he saves up enough money (since he refuses to use his family's money), which is one of the only reasons he hasn't left the team. (The other reason is Roiso.)

Team Sink Ink

Almi

Main Weapon: Luna Blaster

As captain of Team Sink Ink, Almi often has a calm and serious air about her, although she can become frustrated and even panicked during battles.

While extremely competitive, Almi is usually a good sport about losing—but she hates losing more than anything else and can gets annoyed when she feels like her teammates aren't pulling their weight in battle.

She is short-tempered and tends to make decisions on the basis of her current emotions without considering future consequences. Because she can't stand admitting when she's wrong, many of her rage-induced decisions have created rifts between her and others.

Drogen

Main Weapon: Octobrush Nouveau

As the least serious member of the team in terms of personality, Drogen has a cheerful presence that makes him the teammate that others find most easy to interact with. However, others are quick to discover that he's more like his teammates than he appears to be on the surface.

Because he can get cocky and overconfident, he sometimes winds up looking like a bad sport with how much bragging he does. And even if he's on friendly terms with others outside of battle, he shows no mercy once the clock starts.

Hard to catch and equally as hard to splat, Drogen leads the raids into enemy territory and clears the way for his team. He's quick to jump into action—reckless, even—but he has a way of getting out of sticky situations. Snipers are the one thing he struggles to dodge.

Chlor

Main Weapon: Kelp Splatterscope

As the sniper of his team, Chlor considers his job the most important of his teammates (which often causes conflict between him and Almi). He takes battling very seriously and often considers it a failure to lose.

He basically has two personalities—his regular personality and his battlefield personality. During battle, he's calm, collected, and hardly ever panics. Outside of battle, he's more relaxed but fairly quiet and reserved—unless he's talking about sports.

His aim is near perfect, although his intense focus can make him an easy target to sneak up on from behind. He switches from offense to defense on the fly, depending on what his teammates are doing. He’s very persistent and will stop at nothing until he finishes what he set out to do.

Because he's not too much of a close-combat person, he'll retreat if he sees someone heading towards him so he can splat them from a safe distance.

Solo-ers (and Other Such Things)

Iodi

Iodi has had a tough early life, resulting her independent attitude as well as her mental strength. When she was little, she witnessed both of her parents get taken in a fight against elite octolings. She was thought to have died with them, therefore an adoption was never organized, and the remains of the house she lived in were torn down to make room for some other building.

She’s been living on the streets since then, and had to learn how to support herself on her own. Iodi became skilled at stealing, although it’s not something she’s proud to admit. When she was finally old enough to participate in Turf Wars, that turned into her source of income. She’s working to break her bad habit of thieving, although it does give her the edge of sneakiness in battles.

Iodi can be forceful and outgoing, not to mention she’ll talk forever about literally anything to anyone. Her loud personality tends to annoy others or make them uncomfortable, which she considers the reason that she has very few friends.

She was largely discouraged when she couldn’t get a spot on a team after initial plans fell through, but Hikari showed up and the two became fast friends, dominating in ranked.

Eirik

Magnie's older brother. Did solo ranked for a while after he was dropped from his Turf team for wanting to try sniping.

Ridiculously accurate in aim, Eirik has mastered the flick technique with a charger to the point of basically never missing a shot. He dislikes using scopes.

Because he was doing Ranked solo for so long, he finds it hard to stay in one place, constantly moving around the map while doing his duty as his team's long-range protector.

He inadvertently became friends with Iodi after handing The Rush their first loss since teaming up. Immediately following his win, Eirik was picked up by Team Nova—who were desperately searching for The Rush's weakness, although Eirik was unaware of their motivations until after joining.
