Officer Safety & Pursuit Protocol
In the event of a vehicle crash during a pursuit or if an officer is injured (e.g., by gunfire or other causes), officers need to stop and render aid. We've seen a concerning increase in units driving past injured or crashed-out officers without providing assistance. This is a serious safety issue — officer well-being always comes first.
Report Review Channel – Now Available!
We now have the #report-review channel in the Municipal Police discord.
This is a valuable tool to help ensure your reports are complete, accurate, and court-ready.
How to use it:
Post the report type and report number in the channel.
A supervisor will review and either approve it or return it with feedback for correction.
💡 Use this resource — there’s no reason not to!
If you have questions about report writing, consult the Municipal Police Handbook or open a staff ticket in Discord.
Call & Traffic Stop Conduct
There has been an uptick in the number of units attaching to calls and traffic stops unnecessarily.
Traffic Stops: Limit to 2 officers + 1 supervisor, unless additional backup is clearly needed.
REMINDER: Always call yourself en route. A lack of communication leads to overcrowded scenes.
If radio traffic is held, use the /radiochat command to mark yourself en route.
Pursuit Policy Reminder
Officers must strictly follow the pursuit policy. Pursuits should only occur for reasons listed within the guidelines. While supervisors can approve or deny pursuits, it is the initiating officer’s responsibility to ensure the pursuit is justified.
Maintaining Professionalism
As public servants of San Andreas, we must hold ourselves to the highest standards of professionalism.
If a civilian becomes agitated or confrontational, do not lose your temper. Instead, aim to de-escalate and resolve the situation.
Need help handling difficult interactions? Reach out to staff — and we can walk through some scenario-based guidance.
