Monthly Hour Requirements
Minimum Requirement: 4 hours of patrol per month.
Logging Hours: After each patrol, log your hours through the Patrol Log system.
Patrolling Guidelines:
District Tags in Teamspeak:
Select your active municipality/district tag by right-clicking on yourself in Teamspeak, navigating to "Channel Groups," and choosing your assignment.
Ensure jurisdictional and staffing guidelines are met:
Blaine County: Patrol must sufficiently staff Sandy Shores, Grapeseed, and Paleto Bay.
Server 2: Notify a supervisor for assignment or prioritize districts with fewer units when the assignment sheet is inactive.
Officer Professionalism & Conduct:.
Officers are reminded to remain in compliance with our Uniform Structures, Vehicle Structures, Jurisdiction Policies, and all other Regulations & Policies at all times while on patrol.
Officers are encouraged to review our Code of Ethics, Expectations, and Mission Statement of the department and to always ensure our goals as a department are met.
Training & Support for New Officers:
Welcome to all new officers! We hope you’re enjoying your time in the department.
For those who want additional training:
Field Training Officers (FTOs) are available to provide crash courses in MP policing.
While not required, this is a valuable opportunity to deepen your understanding of our operations.
Reach out to an FTO directly or post in the BPD General Chat to request training.
Teamwork & Pursuit Etiquette:
We are one team while on patrol. During pursuits:
Avoid cutting off fellow officers.
Clear intersections and drive with due regard for safety.
If you’re not directly involved, parallel the pursuit, block intersections, or assist in guiding the chase to highways for public safety.
Call Response Procedures:
Follow all procedures in the Law Enforcement Response Guide during call responses.
For scenes like burglaries in progress:
Turn off lights and approach from a block away to maintain the element of surprise.
Avoid parking directly in front of the scene.

Bureau of Investigative Services:
Are you interested in surveilling gang affiliates in Los Santos? Do you want to go undercover to gather evidence on criminal organizations? The Municipal Police Gang Unit is seeking new members to join our team! We offer a unique role-play experience to all members who have previously not been part of such an investigation division.
Must be an Investigator or higher (for at least 30 days) in BIS.
Must be free of any disciplinary action for 60 days (VW+)
Must be in and remain in good community standing within the community.

All documentation has been sent to Community Leadership, pending their approval.
This division will feature certifications like Coastal Bureau, Advanced Search and Rescue, and lots of opportunities to patrol new environments and have new roleplay opportunities! Stay tuned for updates on its approval and opening.
