Performance:
All members of the Municipal Police must ensure their performance and quality of roleplay meet the expectations of the Municipal Police and the community - a point to make is to make strides to go above the expectations.
Promotions – Meeting base requirements month by month is great; however, promotions will consider your performance over a longer stretch of time, including for months at a time.
Judicial Services:
Officers can file warrant requests here! 🔗
⚠️Narratives must be at least 100 words or more, similar to arrest reports and criminal summons. Invalid requests will be denied swiftly and Officers will have to submit the form once again with valid details.
Record Expungement has been released; so ensure that all charges/arrests have sufficient evidence, reports, and reasoning in doing so to prevent having to have your arrests/charges thrown out due to poor evidence/reasoning/reports.
Judicial Services Public Database was released throughout the month, which includes all current & new warrants that will come in, and you can also see all warrant archives, the state bar roster, and other judicial services information.
Patrol Reminders:
Units are reminded of our jurisdictional policies and procedures, and ensure that you remain within the appropriate jurisdictional boundaries while on patrol.
Units are reminded of our municipality limits, please ensure you utilize VMS when activating patrol.
Units should be getting approval from a supervisor before clearing a scene and should also not be clearing the scene as soon as the suspect is taken into custody.
This is not only unprofessional and unrealistic, but it also violates our Self-Attaching policy, which touches on call-hopping.
Units should not have to be told by a supervisor to cease fire, much less multiple times.
Officers who exhibit violations of our Use of Force policies and procedures are subject to disciplinary action; almost all instances of excessive force and illegal misconduct can be issued as a 10-90.
Units are reminded of tactical patrol approaches on scenes, ensure that you utilize the proper code responses to certain calls, for example, do not roll code 3 to silent alarm calls, etc. Remember, arrive tactically!
CAD Reports:
These are some reasons your report/record might be rejected. If your record is rejected, you will be notified and required to make the necessary corrections. Ensure your reports and forms are in compliance with our ‘Completion of Report and Forms’ policy.
