ORACY BENCHMARKS.

In oracy-rich classrooms, students learn both to talk and through talk. Teachers intentionally create opportunities for students to build subject knowledge and understanding through talk. They deliberately develop the oracy skills needed to speak, listen and communicate effectively in a range of contexts. The Voice 21 Oracy Benchmarks provide a practical framework to enable this.
