A MODE A / MODE B APPROACH TO ORACY.

In Mode B, creating opportunities for students to practise and perform talk in different contexts through the curriculum helps them become agile communicators. These opportunities are most powerful when talk is embedded in everyday Mode A teaching and learning. Teachers must ensure oracy is visible, celebrated and central to learning.
