Time

Artist statement: The prompt for this assignment was to show the passage of time using at least 15 photos. My original idea was to take photos of a sunset from start to finish, but it did not end up working out so on an off thought I went with an ice cube melting. While it's a pretty plain idea, I am quite satisfied with not only the process but also how the photos came out. That was my first time watching the entirety of an ice cube's journey back to its liquid form, and I think the photos do a great job of showing the dramatic changes in its form. If I were to do this again I would change the whole idea and try and make the sunset work out. There was a lot of potential with the idea, I was just unprepared to make it work.
