Digital Compositions

Artist Statement:

For this assignment, we had to go around and take seventeen photos, one for each of the composition techniques. There was no specific topic in which the photos had to be, so I went along the lines of images of things found in nature, with a few odd ones out. None of these photos were taken prior to this assignment, neither do they hold any meaning. Some are better, while some could be better, but all in all, I think this assignment came out not half bad.

After going through and editing all seventeen of these photos, I have found that I have grown really attached to is the selective photo example, both unedited and edited. From the lighting to the redness of the tomatoes, but yet how it is not loud in your face really appeals to me. Not to mention selective focus has become my favorite composition technique.
