This a close up photo of a clover I came across while walking around the school. The first edit I thought gave the photo a bit more justice because of how it added some subtle color without changing too much.
This photo of the sky provides very few shadows, allowing it to be a fairly good example of high key lighting. With the second edit, it becomes an even better example.
I decided to use these flowers as a sharp focus example because even with the background not blurred out, you can still tell the subject of the photo is supposed to be the yellow flowers. They add a nice pop of color to the whole of the photo as well.
For this assignment the class had to walk around the school and take photo example of the composition techniques, then edit three photos three different ways. The photos I chose to edit were close distance, high key lighting, and sharp focus. I would say that out of all the photos on this page, the second edit for the close distance photo example would be my favorite out of them all due to the contrast and pops of color.
