Photoshop Portrait

Artist statement: The prompt for this assignment was to combine a self-portrait with a background photo we had taken using photoshop. I decided to go with a sunset photo that I had captured because the colors were really vibrant. It was suggested that we use a background that meant something to us, and I absolutely adore sunsets, so that's another reason why I chose that specific photo.  The little spot on the forehead is not purposeful, the select tool just refused to acknowledge that the small spot was not a part of the wall which is fine because overall the portrait still looks decent.
