Shadows and Reflections

Artist Statement:

This looks like something out of one of those old black and white movies and I love it. This whole assignment was a fun one to complete. Here's the run down. Take a whole roll of film and fill it up with both shadows and reflections. Boom. I loved doing this because for a whole hour I was scooting around my house pointing a flashlight at random things and seeing if I liked the result, it was quite fun. Just like the last two assignments, we made a contact sheet, and then a print. These penguins were great sports, so I chose them to make my print out of. I did scuff this print a little in development, but I am still absolutely in love with it.
