Intro to Film

Artist Statement:

Its film camera time! For this assignment, we got to use a film camera to fill up a whole roll of film on anything that caught our eye. After we all learned to develop said film, we had to make contact sheets and prints. Above is the photo that I chose to make a print out of. It came out as a solid photo, but the paper got scratched up a bit in development so its not the best print, but it serves it's purpose! I really liked this photo and how it came out. The paper I had used was already a little exposed, so I chopped off the boarder when scanning it. I did not redo the print because while the border was grey, I love how much exposure this got. Overall, 9/10 photo and a 7/10 print.
