Artist statement: For this assignment, we had to take a photo of something for each color of the rainbow. Out of all these images, the one that I like the most would have to be the red one. I had no idea that a break light would look so warped and fake when you get so close to it. I also like how it is the only image to fully encompass the color being portrayed, even though there are a few small reflections. If I had to do this again I would probably redo the "yellow" image. The sponge has great potential, I just got to it too late in the day to capture it in a light that really brought out its texture and how yellow it actually is.
