Community 

Artist statement: The prompt for this assignment was to take of photo of something that represented or connected us to the community. I decided that for me, one of the signs in Freeport covered in stickers was what represented the community the best. It took more than just a few people to put that many stickers onto the back of the sign, showing that it was a collective effort to get it to how it is. The stickers themselves also represent the community because at least half of them are from shops and businesses all around the town while the others are personal stickers from individuals.
