Family

Artist statement: This is a triptych of photos showing the backseat view of the cars used in my family. I wanted to capture the natural environment of each car to show how each person uses/decorates the space in their own unique way. I waited until it was dark to take these photos because I wanted the front of the car to have a spotlight effect without being affected by natural light. I found the black background made it much easier to focus only on what the light is touching which is the main focus of each of the photos.
