Base Raiding

Staff Procedure (OOC stuff)

To standardize the process of base raid, the following actions must be followed done:

  • CO, who’s willing to base raid an enemy faction, asks any Admin+ for permission to base raid and (either via admin ticket or PM) [Staff MUST NOT teleport to CO]

  • Staff who took the ticket, observes the opposite base via noclip & cloak or spectate mode for any ongoing tryouts/trainings/DB.

  • After staff made sure that raid won’t interrupt any of said above activities, he asks the requesting CO in PMs about the desired objective of the raid.

  • After the CO PMed staff objective of the raid, staff grants the raid and CO announces a pre-raid DB. [Staff ensures that raid objective is valid]

  • CO hosts a pre-raid DB explaining the objective and strategy of the raid. [Players who arrived at enemy base before pre-raid DB ends are disqualified from attempting to complete the raid objective]

  • Meanwhile staff goes to said objective and waits there cloaked until the raiding team arrives to complete the objective.

  • When the raiding team arrives at the objective, staff begins to roll against any player who attempts to complete the objective. [1 roll per person, no rerolls]

  • After the objective is completed or not, raiding team starts to exfiltrate the enemy base or dies in-progress.

  • Once staff ensured that remaining members of raid left or died, raid ends.

  • Post-raid DB takes place.

*Staff granting the raid can not participate in it

Base Raiding protocols

  • Offensive vehicles may not be deployed on either attacking or defensive side of a raid, however transport vehicles such as an APC & a dropship may be used to transport troops towards the base border of the enemy base.

  • OSS/EOWA classes are excluded from base raids. MACE are not allowed to stay cloaked until the remaining party dies to quietly complete the objective. They cannot roll while cloaked.

  • Cooldown between base raids is 2 hours. Cooldown is individual for each faction. This meaning if the rebels base raid the combine, the rebels are on a 2 hour cooldown while the combine are not.

  • One life per raid. You may not return to the rebel base after you've died, unless you got revived by a HELIX.

  • A base raiding DB is required beforehand (it must be done inside the combine nexus), 10 units have to participate at least, one officer leading them at least & requires a staff member's (admin+) approval to have the raid be considered a valid one.

  • Base raids cannot be exclusive to one (sub)division.

  • Raid results must be logged by the officer leading the base raid after the raid has ended.

  • The raid ends when all but a few raiders die. - Participants must actively/complete the objective/kill people and not hide in the enemy base.

Custom Raid Objectives can be used without any rewards other than the victory of the Base Raid itself, but these objectives listed above will provide the listed rewards should Combine win the raid.
