Description: NPU RIOTs are a CQC-fit class, wielding a shotgun (not automatic) and a shield they normally clear out small, enclosed spaces the same as SWORD, whilst being much less erratic.

Background Lore

RIOT is a remnant of the Nova Prospekt Detachment, specifically the shotgunners in the Nova Prospekt detainment facility. Their armaments were upgraded similar to SHIELD, but this time they are CQC specialists with their shield attachment.
