Background Lore

The Elite Overwatch have always been an Universal Union asset. Originally they were the squad leaders of Overwatch detachments in sectors and missions. They now fulfil a more versatile heavy infantry role that is tasked with guarding high value assets and personnel within the Nexuses in Sector 61. As well as deploying in heavy strike teams to force back rebel positions. Elite Overwatch most ordinarily roam inside the Citadels that they protect at all costs.
