Description: These heavy units are fit for medium-range engagements with an LMG and 150 HP shield to be deployed when fighting rebels. They can also act as CQC units with the shield but SWORD are more specialized for this purpose.

Background Lore

As the rebellion acquires more and more advanced equipment the requirements to fight them include heavier infantry units. Following the dissolution of the ECHO subdivision (which previously acted as a combined OTA force) in order to opt into a modular division. ECHO has been rebranded and repurposed as SHIELD, upgrading it's equipment to an LMG & shield powerhouse with it's sole purpose being to push the Resistance forces while being backed up by the units behind them.
