OneMinus Cos tapped her foot on the ground impatiently. "If you two are quite done, we'd better get going. At this rate, you won't be able to talk to any of the Trig before they start their discussion."
Circe shot the function a look. "We weren't speaking THAT long. For that matter, how is it that I never heard about this landmark meeting before you told us?"
The brunette pursed her lips, then glanced around nervously before answering. "Wellll... it's been rumoured that someone's going to use this gathering to strike out against the parent functions. So they kept the details quiet."
The others exchanged a glance, and Lyn raised an eyebrow before turning back. "Um, that just raises further questions. Like, how do you know about it then? Right down to the time when they're starting their discussion?"
OneMinus Cos stared at Lyn and Circe for a moment. "I... uh..." Then an evil gleam came into her eye. "Because we're going to make them sorry for what they did to poor Tangent!" She then dashed off before either girl could stop her.
Circe let out a noise of exasperation before starting to chase after the trig function. "She's our only lead if this meeting is happening on the q.t.!" she called back to Lyn.
"I doubt Quartic has any part in this..." Lyn protested.
