62-Just Like Twins

"Look, I just want a map to the house of the Trigonometric Reciprocals," Lyn stated. "That's all." She offered up a pencil, which Circe grabbed and pointed back at the blonde.

"It's not that simple. It never is in the Angle Zone," the circle explained. "The only constant in the AZ is that you'll find standard Trig ratios to the North, Reciprocals to the West, Inverses to the East and Inverse Reciprocals to the South. Moreover, you can identify the inhabitants by their colour scheme."

"But surely the Parent Functions themselves must be in an identifiable house, like you Conics..."

"Nope," Circe said, shaking her head. "They're constantly on the move. In fact I bet the twins will have moved at least once since Slope left them."

"But... but why??" Lyn asked, confused.

Circe shrugged. "Trig are terrible at decision making. They're hot then they're cold, they're yes then they're no, they're in then they're out, they're up then they're down..."

The line winced. "Can we avoid pop culture references?"

Circe smirked. "Hey, you thrust, I Perry."

Author Notes: Updating a day early, since I'll be away for a week and can't automate these. But this Wednesday (March 14th) you can check out the newest Special parody. Particularly if you're local, since Hedley's playing in town that night. Um, totally planned that.
