"All right," Circe said to Lyn. "We're going to do this my way. Capiche?"
It was a few hours after they'd spoken in Maud's bar, and after picking up some travel bags, the two had regrouped a short distance from the Angle Zone. "I will follow your lead," the young blonde agreed.
"We go North first, to find the Primary Trig," Circe declared. "They'll be the easiest to locate, and they do keep in contact with their inverses and reciprocals. From them, we should be able to get more specific directions."
Lyn scrunched her nose a bit, not sure about talking with Tangent's sisters. But then, Maud had made the effort to get Circe as a guide... "Fine," the line sighed. She then added, "But can you at least explain to me what the secondary trig ratios look like? We may see some on the way."
Circe gave Lyn a disparaging look. "Well, duh, they're reciprocals. They'll be wearing ties, like Reci does, except here they'll be female."
"No, I mean in terms of your unit circle," Lyn clarified. "I don't want them to think I'm stupid. For instance, isn't a secant supposed to be a kind of line too? How is it trig? You... you explained it so well last time..."
Circe rolled her eyes, but then took her earlier diagram out of her pocket. "Oh, very well. Secant ye shall find..."
