*****

Sin - Cos - Tan, Csc - Sec - Cot

And they each have their inverses

That's how we learn our trig today,

Know the angles and pass your quiz

Sin is y, Cos is x

If hypotenuse one we force

A unit circle all the way,

Know the angles and pass your course

Sine goes up to one and down to minus one.

Make a shift for Cosine, that graph's also done.

Son of a gun!

Sin - Cos - Tan, Csc - Sec - Cot

And they each have their inverses

That's how we learn our trig today,

Know the angles and pass your quiz.

Sin is y, Cos is x

(y, y, x, x, source?)

A unit circle all the way,

Know the ah-ha-ha oh-ho-ho,

know the angles and pass your course.

(Option A:

Sin - Cos - Tan, Csc - Sec - Cot

And they each have their inverses

That's how we learn our trig today,

Know the angles and pass, angles and pass,

angles and pass, angles and pass...)

Option B:

Here we go, from what you know, to more graphs with due care. )

(scarecrow:)

Tangent here, never fear

If you spot all the asymptotes,

Across the range this curve is clear,

Know the angles and check your notes

(tin man:)

Cotangent, no lament

The form is much the same,

Just watch your start and your descent,

Know the angles and check your aim

(Dorothy:)

We can graph the inverses, if you compel.

Can you restrict those domains to function well?

Uh huh!

Isn't that swell!

(lion:)

Cosecant, and Secant, exist where Sine does not

Their curves won't slant as you transplant

Know the angles and watch your plot

Sin - Cos - Tan, Csc - Sec - Cot,

ArcSin, ArcCos too!

That's how we learn our trig today,

(Option:

Know the angles and pass it's true!

That's how we learn our trig today,)

Know the ah-ha-ha ah-ha-ha, ah-ha-ha ah-ha-ha... (etc)

Know the angles and pass, angles and pass,

angles and circles and waveforms and pass, it's true!

Author Notes:

The trouble with musicals would appear to be the lack of a single definitive version. What I found out there didn't always match, thus the "Options", depending on what YouTube link you clicked, or for that matter depending on what you may recall from a recent performance in a local high school. Like mine.
