"We good?" Lyn asked.
"Think so," came Slope's voice again over the comm. "I figured we could send a personal assist there... routine scan picked up that he'd been struggling with the question for something like half an hour."
Lyn tapped again at her watch, and the numerals on her person vanished, the holographic rendering of Slope's face reappearing. The image of the dark haired girl grinned. "So, still inclined to meet up?"
"Sure... you tend to control my inclinations," Lyn admitted. "I can bike over there in half an hour?"
"Great!" With that, Slope's image vanished.
"You could always invite Slope over here instead," Maud suggested.
Lyn turned and half smiled. "Nice try, but this is still a bar, and she's my age. I'll contact Para for you, okay?"
"Para?" Maud said, caught off guard. "I don't know of any 'paratic' function..."
"Nickname that stuck," Lyn explained. She slid her arms up her sides. "Supposedly for the parabola, but if you ask me, it's for her pair a--"
"She has curves. Got it," Maud interrupted.
Lyn grinned, dropping her hands back down and sticking out her tongue. "See you!" the blonde finished, finally turning and running out through the front door.
"Wonder if Lyn rides a b+mx," Maud mused, watching her go.
