In a country where there is no resources but high school district and a lot of
workloads, I have spent a lot of time reforming by drawing pictures on my
cell phone or bag in the class when I was high school. And I used to spend
more time in the karaoke and loved the jazz piano and thanks to my
parents, I was abled to supported. They always give me changes every time I
said there’s something I want to learn or do.
From that solid belief, I learned jazz piano more than 10 years until I was 17
years old and even when I tried to change my major in photography with my
piano just right before the big test to University, my parents trusted me.
And fortunately, I got into the Chung-ang University which is best to learn
photography.
I easily fall into anything and easily get tired of it. That's why I'm working
with photos and videos together now and at the same time I am doing
crafts. I do what I want to do and what I can do, when I want to do it.
Everything I do, for example, photography, filmming and crafts, interact with
each other. And I trying to work in a trendy way to communicate and
influence people of my age.
My current project, “Our Youth In a Matchbox” is a short film about what i am
thinking about youth, it’s only 1 minute and 38 seconds but I think it’s
enough time to tell people my small idea so I made every film in this series
quite short and condensed way.
