Jinyoung & Soyoung -1st Sisters

The first participant of this work is Jinyoung (최진영).

right after I uploaded the post at 8th, August.

Hello. From this autumn, I will do a project about 'sisters'.

I'll not put limits on the media, so planning to work with photography,video,texts etc..

As I'm an only child, the subject <sisters> is really interesting to me.

If anyone can tell me honestly about your sister relationship, it's cool!

Jinyoung texted me and we met at 17th August,

at Cafe Alver near Sinnonhyeon station.

And this is the interview sheet.

inyoung's sister Soyoung is doing an exchange program in the United States,

so couldn't meet her but heard about her from Jinyoung.

Even though I couldn't see them all, it was still interesting to me.

Jinyoung is someone who likes to talk and write.

In the past she wanted to be a writer,

which I decided to make them write. -Using Texts.

so for the first work of this project is

Here's how.

1.Jinyoung and Soyoung write letters to each other.

2.They send it to me.

3.After I get their mails, I transcribe them.

4.I video myself while I'm transcribing letters.

(During the process, I read aloud, write down slowly)

So this work will be a mixture of text and video,

but have to think about how to install and display it.

Although, none of the letters haven't arrived yet but believe they will come soon.

After the interview, I regretted myself that I didn't record her voice.

Also, things got more complex.

I expected that it will be easier to know about the relationship when I finish my interview.

Of course it's silly to think like this only after doing one interview ,

but no.. didn't expect this mess!

They are in the form of family, but they look like friends,colleagues, enemies..

Thank God for giving me a simple life.
