매일 보는 신문과 TV 그리고 길거리에는 아파트 분양 광고와 부동산이 편의점 처럼 넘쳐난다. 그리고 수많은 아파트와 부동산 수 만큼 사람들의 다양한 욕망이 뒤엉켜 있다. 어떤 사람들은 신분 상승하거나 자신의 재력을 과시하기 위해 고급 아파트를 꿈꾸고 또 다른 사람들은 그런 꿈들을 팔아 돈을 번다. 부동산 시장의 과열로 지금 대한민국에선 빚 없이 아파트를 소유하는 것은 이루기 힘든 꿈인 것이 되어 앞으로 우리가 스스로의 보금자리를 구하는 것은 부모님의 도움 없이는 거의 불가능에 가까워 졌다고 해도 과언이 아니다. 나는 이런 현상들을 이번 전시의 주제로 삼아 작업을 해보고 싶다. 아직 구체적인 계획은 만들지 못했지만 앞으로 차차 해 나갈 계획이다.

Daily newspapers, TVs and streets are filled with apartment sale advertisements. Also, the streets are filled with real estate like convenience stores. And there is a mixture of people's various desires, as well as countless apartments and real estate. Some people dream of a luxury apartment to rise their status or show off their wealth, and others earn money by selling such dreams. Owing to the overheating of the real estate market, owning an apartment without debt in Korea is a difficult dream to achieve, and it is no exaggeration to say that it is almost impossible for us to seek our own home in the future without the help of our parents. I would like to work on this phenomenon as the theme of this exhibition. I have not made a concrete plan yet, but I plan to go forward.
