9/18 DMP work note.
There is a sentence written on the tombstone of my favorite novelist.
'my lord, people has been sorrow. but the sea is so azure.'
I think this sentence implies human life implicitly.
People who lives a finite life has sought perfection and doubt, and this repeated bridle made people aware of beauty and sadness.
The Japanese dance I refer to shows the sorrow of the human being and the desire for life by disposing the dancer as not alive.
However, my reference documented the process of dance and recorded the act of dancing.
I would like to make dances as photographs using the allegory and symbols used in Butoh.
Basically, a dancer who is dressed up as a non-living human being would express the irony and sadness of life would be the same as that used in Butoh.
[DMP] Reference - Butoh.
