On October 9, I participated in the gwacheon mmca field trip for view <Bahc Yiso: Memos and Memories> exhibition.
In my nature, I may need a day's time to view one exhibition properly.
But it's quite a burden, so I tend to view exhibitions these days looking for only interesting elements.
The subject sometimes become not an exhibition, but people in gallery.
Although this is not Bahc's work (the work in the picture is Nam June Paik, Zen for TV), it was impressive to see people agonizing over a piece of work. Soon they had a debate and I felt it was more interesting than the work. With a simple image visually, people have a complicated debate.
Differences in perspective...
Back to the subject, Bahc's work was pleasant. It was simple, clear and witty.
I thought he was just an artist suitable for modern art.
(I felt I should get closer to my notebook again, not my cell phone notebook.)
The agony of most artists!
He was same person just like us.
