I was proud that I could improve my ability to interpret images through this week's class.
Especially, Visual Literacy The Art of Seeing was impressive. They divided the methods of interpreting works of art into stages. When I
experienced this method with my professor, I suddenly came up with the following idea. "Those here are art majors and can be interesting,
but how many steps will the public interpret their images?"
I think the public who doesn't even go to art galleries will stop at the search stage. This is because it takes time and effort to invest in a single
piece of work from this stage.
Of course I can't ask the public to do all the steps presented like art majors. The reason they see art is not because it is as serious as their
majors but because it is light.
I hope that art appreciation methods for the public are systematically established and treated in elementary, middle and high schools like the ones we learned today.
