CNN reported that a European businessman who had "potatoes" by photographer Kevin Abosch bought it for €1 million.
Photographer Avoche is a famous portrait writer, who mainly houses Silicon Valley celebrities and stars on the subjects. Avoche's works cost
anywhere from 150,000 dollars per page to 500,000 dollars.
However, the most expensive of them was definitely a picture of the potato, whose name was 'potato #345.
This is one of three photos taken in 2010 from Avoche, one of which is personal, the other donated to a museum in Serbia, and the last one
sold for 1.3 billion won.
The European businessman who bought a picture of Abbosch's potato was known to have visited Aboche's house and traded for wine.
After hearing the news, the public blamed the photographer and modern art.
the public said: 'If you want to do art, you need to be famous like him.' , 'If I had taken this picture, would this picture be sold to someone?.' , '
Modern art is a scam.' ......etc......
I have come to realize why the public criticizes modern art through this survey. While the public's position is not understandable, the public
does not seem to understand the process that photographers tried to get the picture. I want to reflect this point in my work.
