Jean Dupuy, Heart Beats Dust - Cone Pyramid (1968)
This is the most impressive work at the E.A.T exhibition to me. Of course, the process of making a work may not have been simple, but I thought it was simple and interesting.The "heartbeat dust: cone-shaped pyramid" captures the hearts of viewers with a stethoscope and amplifies the sound through the central rubber membrane of the work to create dust. Dust looks like red blood because it uses special pigment. It's been 50 years now and it's amazing to see it now. I respect that point.
In the age of AI(artificial intelligence), it seems to evoke the artist's focus.
