Thank you for stopping by my page! It means a lot that you've taken the time to read about my art journey and look through my art work.
I am currently a 6th grade student at Redmond Middle School.
Ever since I remember, I've always loved art and crafts, of all forms. I have been fortunate to have some amazing art teachers at my school and outside, that have fostered my love for not just Indian art, but other other forms and mediums including paper Mâché, acrylic, beads, pencil sketch and water colors. I enjoy collaborating on community and thematic art projects that is the essence of Madhubani style. Working on complex pieces with intricate designs, vibrant colors brings me so much joy. Projects can take a few days or weeks to finish and the happiness and satisfaction I get when I frame a finished work cannot be expressed. I hope you like my latest project below!
Swans are known for their strong parental instincts and nurturing behavior. After laying eggs, both the male and female swans take turns incubating them, ensuring constant warmth and protection. Once the cygnets hatch, the parents are highly attentive—guiding them through water, teaching them to forage, and shielding them from predators. Swans often carry their young on their backs while swimming, a tender gesture that symbolizes safety and care. Their devotion extends beyond basic needs; swans are known to stay close to their offspring for months, fostering a deep familial bond. This nurturing trait reinforces their symbolic association with loyalty, love, and guardianship in many cultures.
In this artwork, their necks curve together to form a heart, a classic representation of love and unity. The yellow and pink hues of the swans suggest warmth and tenderness, while the intricate feather patterns reflect devotion and grace. Swans are often seen as symbols of fidelity, as they are known to form lifelong bonds with their partners. In this piece, their serene presence on lotus-filled waters reinforces themes of purity and spiritual connection. The surrounding natural elements further highlight the harmony of their bond, making the swans not just central figures but embodiments of enduring love and loyalty.
