Grade 6
I create Madhubani art to stay connected with my roots and to share the beauty of Indian traditions. Through my paintings, I portray the richness of Indian culture by weaving in themes of mythology, nature, and spirituality with intricate patterns and vibrant colors. For me, art is not just a creative expression but also a way to preserve and celebrate an ancient folk tradition. Practicing Madhubani gives me peace, mindfulness, and a strong sense of identity. It also brings me joy to inspire others to appreciate Indian heritage and its timeless beauty.
Bal Ganesh is portrayed in the intricate and colorful style of Madhubani art, radiating innocence and divinity. Seated before the majestic, twilight-kissed Kailash Parvat, he is surrounded by symbols of prosperity and joy. A glowing halo highlights his divine presence, while his loyal companion, Mooshak, enjoys a sweet modak beside a bowl of laddus, capturing their eternal bond. Ganeshji rests gracefully on a woven carpet adorned with delicate kachnhi and bharni designs, emphasizing the richness of the traditional art form. In his hand, he holds a sacred book inscribed with a powerful verse from the Bhagavad Gita, representing wisdom, strength, and spiritual guidance. The sky behind him shimmers with swirls of pink, purple, and white, creating a serene yet vibrant atmosphere. Every detail of the painting is thoughtfully designed to celebrate harmony, devotion, playfulness, and the timeless beauty of Indian tradition.
