Hello, My name is Meera Sankar. I am in 7th grade and I have been learning Madhubani art for about 4 years now. I love the intricate details that you need for madhubani art. This ancient art form reflects the culture, spirituality, and daily life of the people who create it.
I have completed 6 projects so far, on canvas and paper, but I am hoping that there will be many more to come!
This year, I’m excited to show my art at the Annual Art Show and share my creative journey with everyone!
In the heart of a royal palace, beneath an arched window opening into the vast night sky, a lady sits in serene grace with her veena. Draped in hues of turquoise and rose, she is a vision of poise, her fingers gently awakening each string. As her melody rises, the palace walls seem to dissolve, and the universe itself leans in to listen.
It is no ordinary night — both the sun and moon shine together, rare companions in the same sky. The golden rays of the sun mingle with the cool glow of the moon, weaving light and shadow across her form. Her music becomes the bridge between opposites: day and night, strength and softness, the earthly and the divine.
The notes of her veena ripple outward like waves of energy, filling the hall with a presence that feels eternal. The stars glitter brighter, the peacocks stir in quiet admiration, and the universe hums in rhythm. In that moment, her melody is no longer just music — it is prayer, it is balance, it is divinity itself.
