The Holy Trinity
Who is the Holy Trinity?
This is the proper question becasue the Holy Trinity is not a "What" question!
In God there is one nature therefore there is only one God. In God there are three persons.
To answer the question in the basic sense we say:
Who is the Holy Trinity?
In God there are three divine persons, God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit
How is the Holy Trinity revealed as God?
Short Answer: As Creator, Redeemer and Sanctifier.
Long Answer: As God the Father as the Creator, God the Son as the Redeemer, and God the Holy Spirit as the Sanctifier.
Through the Bible God reveals himself as God the Father as creator. This is easy to see when you read the first 3 chapters of the Book of Genesis in the Bible.
In Genesis and in other places in the Bible you will find God’s Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit sanctifies (makes holy) and does this by inspiring and helping mankind. The Holy spirit is also mentioned as the Breath of God.
God came to earth in the form of a man, who is Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Son God and came to save mankind and provide redemption of all mankind.
The Holy Trinity is a supernatural mystery. A supernatural mystery is a truth you cannot fully understand but you believe because God has revealed it in its parts. God reveals what is necessary for you to know him and be saved.
