Materials
The Bible is unique. It is the written revelation coming from God as it was given to human authors who were inspired by the Holy Spirit.
The Catechism of the Catholic Church (CCC) is also used.
The book, The Christian Life, is a simplified Adult Catechism aimed at helping Adults prepare to embrace the Christian faith in the Catholic Church. It begins by tracing the history of salvation wrought by Jesus Christ and the life he gives believers. The author believes that very few know what the Christian Life is all about. Who is to blame for this disconnect? The author discusses how the true concept of Christianity has been misunderstood. There are some misconceptions by which the term "Christian" is used today that are not at all consistent with what it means to be Christlike.
"Because Jesus is the revelation of God, when we fall in love with him, we can know God through him. For this reason, the New Testament can describe Christ as the "Author and finisher of our faith" {Hebrews 12:1}. All faith comes from and tends to him."
