Online Learning is offered not as a convenience but as a way to offer solutions and options. The solutions and options are targeted for adults and familes with youth or children under special circumstances. Pre-approval is required in order to participate in this program.
Generally for Adults they fall into to two catgegories. 1.) Adults who desire the sacraments but are unable to attend the scheduled meeting nights on a regular basis.
2.) Adults whose proximity is far away. Typically they may be doing it as part of marriage prep at this parish but live far away.
For Families with children; it may happen that a guardian is local to the parish and is overseeing sacrament preparedness for a cild living elsewhere. It may also be that a Family is already home schooling and this can be provided as a curriculum.
All remote learning and homeschooling options still require the candidate to come in periodically for meetings and progress check.
