Kippy's family is very big into boxing, and they wanted Kippy to be a boxer too. But he didn't want to punch other animals in the face. He'd rather obliterate them with thunder and lightning. So he left home and begged Carlos to teach him magic. Carlos agreed, and now Kippy stands as his loyal apprentice and follower, learning more and more magic as the days go on.
