Because Subaru is explosive when exposed to anything edible besides beef, people abused him by feeding him chicken and throwing him as a grenade in the great lad war. Eventually, Subaru filed a lawsuit and it became illeagal to use him as a weapon, so instead they began abusing Bombo, who is also explosive. Bombo can be lit whenever you anger him. He hates Fortnite videos, so soldiers force him to watch them until he lights.
